The practice of the so called modern dance techniques has a similar purpose. In that sense, if historians allow me, I’d say that these dancing techniques are kind of an extension of ballet. The difference lies in their exploration of trunk movements and their relationship to the floor. When you take a modern dance class, the technique you learn will vary upon the preference of the teacher. Since it is such an emotion-driven genre of dance, students are able to learn great variations of the craft by studying under different instructors. A contemporary dance style is a form of modern dance that urbanized in the mid of 20 th century. Now it has evolved to become one of the first techniques for formally expert dancers all over the world.
